PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT, TECHNOLOGY  TRANSFER & OTHER TECHNICAL ISSUES:
●    Provided technology & product licensing for wire & cable company overseas.
●    Developed proprietary PET-LCP alloys for barrier and mechanical properties & developed TPVs based on PP-EPR, PP-NBR, and PP-SBR for client companies to get into new markets.
●    Developed several high margin proprietary specialty films and packaging materials including multi-layer extrusion coated and laminated with films, foil and paper, which resulted in new annual sales of $100 million.
●    Developed specialty nylon compounds for moisture-resistant flexible packaging with new annual sales of $150 million.
●    Comparative property evaluations of LDPE films to study the effect of diatomite and perlite as anti-blocking agents.
●    Compared diatomite, nepheline, synite and talc as anti-blocking additives in LDPE and LLDPE films.
●    Developed cardiology catheter and an elastomer tubing for single pump housing for medical device companies with new annual sales of $300 million.
●    Developed several applications using cellulose fibers and recycled crumb rubber for various markets.
●    Developed numerous thermoplastic elastomer products and engineering plastics compounds for various companies.
●    Characterized cryo-ground recycled tire rubber & developed compounds based on this ultra-fine ground powder.
●    Developed compounds with inter-polymers for a large multi-national chemical company.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING ISSUES:
●    Conducted marketing study for multi-layer co-extrusion for client company to enable them to enter the market.
●    Served as expert panelist and conductor of expert forums for product and market development companies.

EXPERT WITNESS & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY ISSUES:
●    Served as Expert Witness in 4 product liability lawsuits, one in automotive TPOs (which went to trial and our side won), two in polyolefin and ABS injection molded parts (one was settled out of court and the other was dismissed based on my finding) as well as in four patent disputes.
●    Also provided due diligence expertise in acquisition of a company producing wood-plastics composites (WPC).

EDUCATIONAL & TRAINING ISSUES:
●    Developed courses in Material Selection & Substitution, Polymer Compounding, and Adhesion of Polymers for Univ. of N. Carolina at Charlotte.
●    Developed training courses on
      - "High Barrier Packaging",
      - "Basics of Intellectual Property for Chemists and Engineers",
      - "Compatibilization of Polymer Alloys, Blends and Composites",
      - "Reactive Compounding of TPEs and TPVs".
      - "Grafting of Polymers with Reactive Extrusion"
      - "Technology and Applications of Tie-Layers".
